Dripping faucet in Agawam, dead water heater in Northampton, A/C that stopped blowing cold in Pittsfield. We cover it. Biermann Plumbing and Heating runs out of 2025 Riverdale Street in West Springfield, and from that shop we dispatch across all of Hampden, Hampshire, and Berkshire counties in Western Massachusetts, plus Enfield and Suffield in northern Connecticut.
Homeowners are our primary customer. Water heater replacement, leak detection, fixture repair, gas piping, A/C install, furnace service, heat pump installation, indoor air quality upgrades. Residential service runs every day our trucks are on the road.
Property managers, general contractors, and municipal procurement teams round out the service list. Apartment buildings, condo associations, offices, retail, banks, medical and dental offices, schools, and public buildings. Same licensed crew, different staging. Four decades of working in occupied spaces in this region means we know the buildings and we know the towns.

The two Connecticut towns we service under CT Master license #PLM.0288365-P1.
Don't see your town? Call (413) 547-2970. If you are inside Hampden, Hampshire, or Berkshire County, or in Enfield or Suffield CT, we probably already run service in your neighborhood. We do not service Connecticut towns outside Enfield and Suffield, and we do not service Franklin County or any town east of Palmer in Massachusetts.
Every town on the list above gets the full Biermann service list. No stripped-down rural version. The trucks that show up in Pittsfield carry the same parts and the same licensed techs as the trucks that show up in Springfield.
Water heaters, leak detection, pipe repair, fixture replacement, gas line work, water filtration, sump pumps. The everyday plumbing a homeowner calls for. Same licensed plumbers in every town.
A/C install and repair, furnace service, heat pump installation, boiler replacement, thermostat upgrades, and indoor air quality work. Our growth department runs across all 39 towns.
Ongoing service for apartment buildings, condos, offices, retail, medical, and dental offices. Portfolio scheduling, documentation, and priority dispatch for existing commercial customers.

Plumbing and HVAC for local municipalities, schools, public safety buildings, and treatment facilities. Prevailing wage compliance, certified payrolls, public bidding experience.
Four regional pockets, four different ways to think about response time and coverage. Here is how we think about the territory.
10-20 min from HQ
West Springfield (HQ), Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Holyoke, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Southwick, Westfield, Wilbraham. The I-91 corridor is where we run the most trucks on the most days.
Most residential service, multi-residential property accounts, and commercial buildings sit here.
20-35 min from HQ
Northampton, Amherst, Hadley, South Hadley, Easthampton, Southampton, Westhampton, Hatfield, Whately, Deerfield, Belchertown, Granby. Pioneer Valley homes, the Five-College institutional buildings, and a growing slate of residential A/C installs.
Scheduled maintenance visits and on-call residential work run weekly.
45-75 min from HQ
Pittsfield, Lenox, Lee, Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Egremont, Richmond, New Marlborough, Otis, Blandford. Second homes, year-round residences, and institutional properties. Longer drive, same full service.
We batch Berkshire routes. Schedule ahead and pricing stays fair.
15-25 min from HQ
Enfield and Suffield are the two Connecticut towns we service, licensed under CT Master Plumber #PLM.0288365-P1. Both border Massachusetts and sit closer to our shop than half our Western Mass towns.
Full residential and light commercial work. Treated exactly like our MA customers.
Had a great experience calling Biermann as a first time customer dealing with an ill-timed heating issue in below-zero temperatures. Bill was thorough, quick, respectful and helpful in explaining possible issues. Highly recommend.
All of Western Massachusetts and two northern Connecticut towns. That means every city and town in Hampden, Hampshire, and Berkshire counties in Western MA, plus Enfield and Suffield, Connecticut. Our shop is at 2025 Riverdale Street in West Springfield, so the I-91 corridor, Springfield metro, and the Pioneer Valley are our densest coverage. We also run regular routes into the Berkshires (Pittsfield, Lenox, Great Barrington, Stockbridge) and out east toward Palmer and Monson. 39 towns total.
Probably yes, if you are in Hampden, Hampshire, or Berkshire County. The list of 39 named towns covers the places we route to most often, but we respond to service requests across all of Western Massachusetts. Outside Western MA, our Connecticut coverage is limited to Enfield and Suffield. Call (413) 547-2970 and tell us where the property is. If it falls inside our service footprint we will get you on the schedule. If it does not, we can usually point you toward a reputable plumber who serves your area.
Our base at 2025 Riverdale Street in West Springfield sits in the middle of our coverage area. Closest towns (Agawam, Springfield, Holyoke, Chicopee, Southwick, Westfield, Suffield CT) are 10 minutes away. The Pioneer Valley towns (Northampton, Amherst, Hadley, Easthampton) are 20 to 30 minutes. Enfield CT and the Longmeadow area sit 15 to 20 minutes south. Berkshire County towns like Pittsfield, Great Barrington, and Stockbridge are 45 to 75 minutes west. We service all of it. Response time depends on the call and distance, but fast service is standard for existing customers regardless of where the property is.
Exactly two: Enfield and Suffield. Both sit on the Massachusetts border, minutes from our West Springfield shop. Biermann holds Connecticut Master Plumber license #PLM.0288365-P1, which lets us do full licensed plumbing work in those two towns. Other Connecticut towns are outside our current service area. If your property is in Enfield or Suffield, call (413) 547-2970 and we will treat you exactly like a Western Mass customer.
The Greater Springfield I-91 corridor is where we are fastest. West Springfield (HQ), Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Holyoke, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Westfield, Southwick, Enfield and Suffield CT all sit within 15 to 20 minutes of our shop. The Pioneer Valley (Northampton, Amherst, Hadley, South Hadley, Easthampton) is 25 to 35 minutes. Berkshire County is a longer drive (45 to 75 minutes), but we service every one of those towns on a scheduled basis. For emergencies in the Berkshires we strongly recommend being an existing customer on our maintenance rotation, since distance matters most when minutes matter.
Yes, honestly. The Springfield and Pioneer Valley corridor gets multi-day-per-week coverage because that is where most of our customer properties sit. Berkshire County (Pittsfield, Lenox, Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lee, Egremont, Richmond, New Marlborough, Otis, Blandford) gets scheduled service runs and any existing-customer emergency calls. For routine service in the Berkshires, we batch multiple appointments into single trips to keep pricing fair. If you are a Berkshire property manager or homeowner planning ongoing work, we can build a maintenance cycle that lines up with our regular Berkshire routes.
